As we look towards the year 2023, we stand at an incredible milestone: our 10th anniversary. It is a momentous occasion that reminds us of how far we have come and the tremendous support we have received along the way. We should be both proud and humbled by what we have achieved as a business.

From the moment we were established as the global headquarters for the Mineral Resources Trading Division, we knew we had a daunting task ahead of us. Our mission was to synergize the investment and trading capabilities of the Mineral Resources Group to provide the utmost value for our customers. It was a herculean effort, but our unwavering determination and drive to make a lasting impact in the industry exceeded our expectations.

We are now recognized as a trusted international trading partner in the commodities supply chain, and the RtM Group continues to build on our foundational strengths: ethical values, a truly global footprint, market intelligence and our people.

We understand the next decade will be another transformational phase, and we will continue to evolve our business portfolio to address decarbonization, electrification and circular economy trends. The global green focus has already contributed to wide ranging advancements in mining, smelting and metallurgical recycling technologies, and I am excited by the new opportunities these changes will bring for both our business and the industry as a whole. We anticipate a further enhancement of our trading capabilities, an expansion of our geographic presence, and new potential waves of value creation.

The Covid-19 pandemic, geopolitical conflicts and emerging inflationary trends has posed difficult questions for us all, and we will expect to encounter persistent uncertainty in the immediate and more distant future. I am nevertheless confident in the face of this challenge, we are strengthened by our accumulated experience, and more resilient on our forward path.

Honoring a decade together is a cause for celebration, and I am sincerely thankful to past and present members of the board, our colleagues, stakeholders and customers for the invaluable partnerships and support. And to our employees: your passion and camaraderie has been the difference, and together we will write our next chapter.
